Kjaer will undergo medical examinations today with Stefano Pioli who finds himself with short of options at the back as Mateo Musacchio and Leo Duarte are not fully fit, leaving only Matteo Gabbia and Alessio Romagnoli.
 According to Calciomercato.com, the Serie A giants are already looking for potential Kjaer’s replacements in the market. Paolo Maldini said in October the Rossoneri have a budget to sign at least one new player in the January window.
Schalke 04’s Ozan Kabak reportedly tops Milan’s transfer list for the winter transfer window. The Rossoneri are open to paying up to €15m to secure the services of the Turkey defender.
The first alternative, according to the report, is Mohamed Simakan, contracted with Strasbourg. Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic is another possible transfer target even if La Viola are not eager to sell in January.
Hellas Verona’s Matteo Lovato and Kristoffer Ajer are also being monitored by the Diavoli.
