The hitmaker – who has just completed her mandatory 14-day quarantine after jetting to Australia from England – recently spoke out after meeting her fellow judges Keith Urban, Jessica Mauboy and Guy Sebastian for the first time in Sydney.
In an interview with The Daily Telegraph, the singer said: ‘I’m really grateful to have been invited here to be a part of The Voice this year. I can’t wait to be able to mentor the amazing talent out here, let’s go.’
Rita landed in Australia at the beginning of last month, after flying over from her home in London to appear on the panel.

Alongside a killer voice and acting credentials, Rita is also known for her impeccably toned physique.
In a previous interview with US Shape magazine, the Fifty Shades of Grey star revealed circuit training to be her exercise go-to.
‘I usually work out for one or two hours, depending on how much time I have,’ she said.
‘I do three circuits and repeat that three times. I mostly focus on my thighs and my bum, so I do a lot of squats and weight lifting. And I do one circuit of cardio.’
As for diet, Rita said she often has two boiled eggs, asparagus and half a cup of muesli with almond milk for breakfast, followed by lean protein and vegetables for lunch, and fish with vegetables and half a potato for dinner.
And while she refrains from eating bread or sugar, she admits to being a ‘sucker for cheese and wine’ and allows herself to ‘indulge once a week.’
