As of 1am on Friday, anyone who has been in Victoria in the past 14 days and tries to enter Queensland will be turned around or go into hotel quarantine.

Travellers who arrive in Queensland from Victoria before 1am on Friday must follow the same lockdown requirements in place in Victoria.
Anyone coming into Queensland who has been in the Whittlesea area or a venue of concern will be required to go into hotel quarantine, according to Queensland Health.

Victorian officials have identified an estimated 10,000 close or secondary contacts of current local confirmed COVID cases.
Queensland Police Commissioner Katarina Carroll said there would be random checks across road borders in the coming days.
Anyone returning to Cairns or Brisbane, there are quarantine hotels in those areas, however if you are to return anywhere else, you will actually be transported to those areas to do your quarantine period, she said.
All flights from Victoria will be met by police at the airport and all connecting flights will also be met by police.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said vaccination rates in Queensland had increased, with more than 6200 vaccine administered in the past 24 hours.
Thats a massive increase from last week – I think on average we were doing around 2000, so people are coming out and getting vaccinated.
When asked about mass vaccination hubs, Ms Palaszczuk said they would be operating in the next few months.
Were working through all those processes and I know the Health Minister and the department are getting them ready and well have more announcements in the coming weeks.
When asked about the AFL competition, Ms Palaszczuk said the government was more than happy to accommodate teams where it is safe to do so.
We are speaking with the AFL and we are more than happy to take more teams as needed, she said.
