Atalanta forward Papu Gomez seems set for a permanent move to Sevilla.
TMW reports the two parties are close to reaching an agreement and the transfer is practically done, but surprisingly enough it will not be a loan deal with an obligation to buy.
The reports had suggested Sevilla were hoping to postpone the permanent transfer until this summer, but the outlet claims President Antonio Percassi has negotiated with sporting director Monchi over a permanent deal.
Gomez, who moved to Atalanta from Metalist in 2014, has reportedly been offered a €3m-a-year contract until June 2023.
