Zac Efron is really leaning into the vibe of being an Australian.
First he moved from Byron Bay to Adelaide, then he got his hair chopped into a mullet, and now he’s improving his cricket skills.
The 33-year-old Baywatch star spent Saturday with former Aussie cricket captain Steve Smith, and it looks like the actor has picked up a new hobby.

Smith shared a photo to Instagram of himself and Efron with two other mates at an indoor cricket centre in Sydney.
“Good fun in the nets smashing a few balls with these guys!,” he captioned the pic. “Mot sure they will be getting a call up anytime soon.”
Efron moved to Australia last year in a bid to escape the pandemic, after falling in love with our country a few years ago. And it seems like the shine isn’t wearing off  he’s since picked up acting work here and seems to be settling for good.
In 2020 he shot a Stan Original film in South Australia, before returning to Sydney with his Aussie girlfriend Vanessa Valladares.

The High School Musical actor reportedly met Valladares when she working as a waitress at the Byron Bay General Store cafe in June.

In December, it was reported the actor had purchased land in Tweed Valley, in Northern NSW for $2million, with plans to build a property.
He also recently listed his LA home for sale another hint that he might be moving here for good.
