Phil Foden makes Kante admission
Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden has described Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante as his toughest opponent to date in his career.
The 20-year-old came up against Kante in the two recent meetings between the sides, which both resulted in Chelsea victories.
Fielding questions in an interview with Sky Sports, the City midfielder was full of praise for the former Leicester City man.
“Its probably the most obvious one but (N’Golo) Kante,” said Foden when asked to name his most difficult opponent.
“Hes just everywhere. You think youve got away from him and hes just always by your side so I would probably say him.
“He does everything, he runs everywhere, hes such a great player so Id probably say hes my toughest opponent Ive played against.
Hes a great player.”

Tuchel makes Werner prediction
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel hopes that the best version of Timo Werner will be on show on Sunday afternoon at Villa Park.
The German forward has come under scrutiny on numerous occasions this campaign for lacking a clinical edge and being caught offside.
But Tuchel maintained an optimistic view when discussing the struggles of the club’s summer signing, stating:
“He’s still young and can still improve. This is what we demand week by week. When he has some time to reflect, rest, some time on holiday for mental rest, I’m sure he can take the next steps next year.
“He is not new anymore, he will know the environment, what he is coming back to, his teammates, what he is up against on the first game and how to adapt. This will help him.”
