Samsung is readying a new entry in its long-running line of rugged smartphones. We’ve seen the Galaxy Xcover 5 before, both in various certifications, as well as in some leaks.
The phone should become official at some point this month, and is rumored to retail in Europe for 289 to 299. It will be offered in one color only, the one you can see in the newly leaked renders below, which Samsung calls Graphite Black.

The Xcover 5 is said to sport a 5.3-inch 720×1480 LCD touchscreen, covered with Gorilla Glass 6. The phone will be IP68 water and dust resistant as well as MIL-STD 810G certified for withstanding extreme elements.
It’s powered by the Exynos 850 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. Dual-SIMs are supported. On the back you get a 16 MP f/1.8 camera with a LED flash, while on the front there’s a 5 MP snapper for selfies. The battery is 3,000 mAh, with support for 15W charging. The Xcover 5 runs Android 11. The handset’s dimensions are 147.1 x 71.6 x 9.2 mm, and it weighs 172g.
