Rangers took a major step to sealing their first Scottish Premiership title in ten years as Callum McGregor’s own goal saw ten-man Celtic lose the Old Firm Derby 1-0 at Ibrox.
Neil Lennon’s side dominated for large parts of the game but failed to make their chances count due to the imperious form of Gers goalkeeper Allan McGregor.

However, a moment of madness from Nir Bitton ultimately decided the Ibrox clash as his reckless challenge on Alfredo Morelos saw Celtic reduced to ten men.
Just eight minutes after Bitton’s dismissal, Callum McGregor was powerless to preventing James Tavernier’s fierce corner into his own net.
Despite a spirited effort from the Hoops, they were ultimately unable to find an equaliser and are now 19 points behind of their fierce rivals, though they have played two matches less.
